Fish feed

  • Aquaculture development is based on the wide use of compound feeds, the quality of which is subject to special requirements. Unlike similar products for farm animals, compound feeds for fish must contain an increased level of protein, lipids, metabolic energy and vitamins, and also be stable in an aggressive aquatic environment, possessing good water resistance and low friability.

  • Some fish species are very sensitive to the quality of fats, the oxidation products of which are toxic to the body, due to which strict restrictions are imposed on feeds in terms of peroxide and acid numbers of lipids.

  • Fish feeds include various components of animal and plant origin, as well as vitamin and mineral mixtures and special additives.

  • Composition soybean meal, sunflower meal, cottonseed meal, wheat, corn, wheat bran, fish meal, meat and bone meal, premixes and minerals, sunflower oil, monocalcium phosphate.
